Alright, so this is the best I could figure out to do with my guy color matching instincts... which is limited. Along with that, no background image. Main reason for that is a mixture of two reasons.
First, I'm a fan of the theory that with a background image, there's less range of colors that you can use with that image. With an image, there are changes in colors that may make it hard to read certain text; however, if you change it to fit it for one area, it may not be visible in another area. With a plain single bg color, there's a wider range of colors that can show up on it.
Second, I don't think there's anything that has a range of images that reflect what this site is for. So I wasn't willing to crop images and insert them onto a canvas then figure out color patterns... really annoying.
So that's my little rant. Let me know if you like it, hate it, think it's too dark and gothic, or whatever. All ideas are welcomed and possibly bg images.
