These are the guidelines to follow when posting any type of creative work.
The Work:
All creative works are to either belong to you or you were involved in them. If it is found out that you are not involved with it in some way or other, the post will be deleted along with reasonable punishment. Any material that is rated M (or R if you like) can be posted on this site, but it can not be viewable on the site and thus most have a link to an outside link. All materials are to have a warning of what's in the work (e.g. language, violence, gore, etc.)
What Needs to be in Title:
What you need to have in your title is both the title of your work and the rating of it. Example: The Last Ioitsu Master [T]. If it is a fanfic/art then it is recommended to have the title of the original source. If it is a K (or G) rating, it is not necessary to put a rating in the title because this is a family friendly site so no warning should be needed for these in the title.
What Needs to be in Message:
Title:
Genre/s:
Warnings:
Rating:
Progress:
Link:
Summary:
Also, if it is a fanfic/art, please let us know what it is from.
Please use some outside link for all items that are considered M (or R), are stories/dramas, or anything else that will take up a large amount of space in a post.
All of those need to be in either the title or the post in some way. I'm pretty lenient, as titles, genres, and rating are already known and I can understand not restating them, but if the ones needed aren't in there somewhere, then I'll let you know. It is an important note that depending on your work and what rating it is, you could have only one or two of those needed in your post.
Don't:
...post a thread that has all of your work in it. Threads are to have only a single work in it. If you have a collection of work already, then post it in the links thread, but don't use the links section as a place to showcase individual works.
Sites for Works:
These are some popular places to put your works if you don't have an idea of where to put them.
Fictionpress.com - Original writing works.
Fanfiction.net - Fanfiction writing works.
Deviantart - All art, flash, and text.
Newgrounds - Flash and possibly audio works.
MyPodcast.com - Place to start a podcast (where I put mine).
Youtube - Original videos and also flash.
Ratings:
K or G - Family friendly, nothing offensive in it.
K+ or PG - Can have some violence and slight language but no graphic violence or suggestive scenes.
T or PG-13 - Can have graphic violence, language, and some suggestive scene, but no actual sex scenes (as in description).
M or R - Can have anything in it including sex. Must be linked to other site and not posted on this site.
