Welcome to all who decided to join this little forum. Hopefully this place will grow quickly; telling people might help as well.
Purpose:
The purpose of this site is to show off your creativity to others, no matter what it is, and get criticism on it. To find creative works that you may be interested in seeing, reading, or hearing. Also to discuss creativity. No type of creativity will be turned away on this site. If you don't see a creative form you believe should be up on the site: either PM me or create a topic about it in the suggestion board.
Reviews:
Reviews are what they sound like, reviews of a certain work. They can be positive, negative, simple, or complex. However, this doesn't mean you are to be completely mean, rude, and negative in your reviews. You don't have to like the story, but as a reviewer, you are to give constructive criticism on what should be better and what was done well. Anything that is just outright negative and has no value will be deleted, along with a warning for the review or a short ban depending on the number of occurrences.
Creative Works:
All creative works are to either belong to you or you were involved in them. If it is found out that you are not involved with it in some way or other, the post will be deleted along with reasonable punishment. Any material that is rated M (or R if you like) will not be posted on this site and most have link to somewhere else. All materials are to have a warning (more detail in Creative Work Guidelines) of what's in the work (e.g. language, violence, gore, etc.)
Chatting Etiquette:
As this is a forum open to all, including children; no language and such on the forum chats. As creative works are to have warnings, they are not subject to having censorship. The obvious rule is to treat everyone as equal and not say stuff you don't want others to say to you.
Other:
Don't post a thread that has all of your work in it. Threads are to have only a single work in it.
No spamming others.
No sending PMs to others asking them to view your work, visit your site, or have them do something for you. That's what's the forum for, it has a place to showcase anything you want to showcase. Also, you can put it in your sig.
No creating multiple accounts.
Use font sizes/colors that people can see and read without extra effort.
And note that it will be up to the mods discretion to determine if something is wrong or not: thus being a precedent and will then be reflected in the rules for future reference.
