In the ever popular Hollywood move of making movies from an existing cartoon, anime, or video game we can now add Smurfs to it. Okay, so people might have known about this, some may not, but I just want to smurf about it because I have nothing better to do. So, recently it's been announced that Gosnell the director behind Scooby-Doo (I liked that) and Beverly Hills Chihuahua (made me go WTF for commercials) has signed onto the film. Several of the other people invovled seem to be hit in miss but apparently that's already been announced. Now, the movie plans to be a mix of CGI and live-action, which I'm assuming will be similar to Tim Burton's take on Alice in Wonderland. Also, it's planned to be a smurfilogy... that's right, a Smurf trilogy. Part of me has this worrying fear that yet another of my childhood memories will be ruined by Hollywood. That's when I realized that I've seen the Smurfs since those childhood memories and made fun of it for the entire duration. Along with that, my head exploded; thus causing me to get a head transplant. I'll just leave you all to your thoughts. Article
