Seems like I heard this quite a while back, that Comedy Central was ordering 26 episodes for Futurama and what suppose to start when they gained the rights to the show; however, they only showcased the movies. But it is now official and confirmed, along with hopefully coming out in mid-2010. Which I'm happy to know and can't wait for the new season to begin. This is also the second TV series from Fox that has been revived because of DVD sells: the first being Family Guy. This either means that Fox doesn't know what its fans want, they easily give into pressure, or both. Three Articles: ArticleArticle 2Article 3
