I know this might be somewhat unorthodox, but let me explain. Back when I was a sophomore in high school, about 3-4 years ago, a friend of mine was wanting to write a story that was a collaborative effort between several of his friends: me being one of them. Now, this story was well planned out, who was going to to write this world and so forth; however, when it came time for the first person, besides the original writer, to write his part, he never did it and that's the end of that story.
Now, for a while, I've been wanting to write a story that was similar to the premise of his story for a while: which was something similar to Kingdom Hearts on traveling to different worlds. I've had ideas, then I just shook it off: rinse and repeat for several years. Now, I'm arguing myself into doing this as it's come into my head again: so might as well attempt it and see if it works. Right now, it's a really vague idea with only the premise, but I figured that I should try to jump into it now.
So, this is where the character ideas come from. As nearly all of the characters will come from an already made source, I would like to have a few characters that aren't created by me. Right now, as I'm just in the early stages of the plot, I just need side-kicks/friends of the hero: think Donald, Goofy, Riku, or Kari from Kingdom Hearts (the ones who have played).
All of this will be set in the current time before the world hopping. So clothing needs to be current, there's no expectation that characters know how to fight or anything of the sort, and they can't have super powers. The characters that are going to be side-kicks will become better fighters as the story progresses. For the hero himself, he will have some training in Kendo and Karate (not mastery of); so perhaps a friend or two could be a sparring partner of his, just an idea.
There's no particular design for them, but they need to be high school ages: so nothing 20+ or under 14. So make sure that the character has physical descriptions (e.g. height, hair color), age, personality, clothes, and any other details that you think is important. For the artistic, if you rather draw it then just describe it, that's alright too; except for certain things that can't be shown in a picture. Up to you, but writing is easier for me.
I would love to have several characters within two weeks: gives me some time to finish some other stuff and work on the plot of the story. And, of course, you will be credited for creating the character in the commentary part of the story. Thanks in advance for any that try to help.
Oh, and this story will be T rated, so if you don't want to be affiliated with something with cussing, deaths, and violent material: then this isn't for you.
